Abstract guidelines

• Abstract should be typed with Microsoft Word using the template (download template here).
• The abstract body should be short (100–500 words), clear, concise, and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure.
• Mathematical symbols and equations can be typed in or embedded as images.
• Figures and tables should not be included.
• Registered participants are allowed to submit only one abstract as presenting authors.

Abstract submission

Registration deadline for presenting authors: 15 July.

There will be a book of abstracts with invited short papers for the PIAHS (Proceedings of the IAHS).

To submit the abstract:

• Use the ABRHidro submission system to submit your abstract.
• Use the following link to access the ABRHidro submission system.

• When you click the “sign in” button on the bottom of the page you will be directed to the registration page. If you are using the system for the first time and are not Brazilian, click on the “Not Brazilian” button on the right side of the page under the “New to the system?” to register to the ABRHidro system.
• Write your email address and full name, and then click the “save” button. You will receive an email with instructions on how to proceed with the registration to the ABRHidro system.
• After finishing the registration in the ABRHidro system with the creation of your password, you should access the following link to start the submission of your abstract: www.abrhidro.org.br/submissao.
• Choose the correct event and click the “submission” button.
• Click the “new abstract/paper submission” button.
• Enter the information needed. Notice you will be asked to choose under “Theme” the HELPING Working Group more closely related to your paper. You can neglect the field after “Theme” (just choose “I agree”).
• Click the “Save and continue” button.
• You will need to upload the abstract file.
• After uploading the abstract file, you will need to enter information of all authors. Do not forget to set one of the authors as the presenter.
• Click the “Finish” button. You will receive an email with the confirmation of submission.
